PESO LERMONTOV died early morning of December 10, 2008. He was the dog we all loved dear and sweet to our hearts. He was a loving companion, a champion friend, and the soul mate to Lucy. Peso will be missed, and his legacy will live on.
I remember peso for being the nastiest and sweetest dog at the same time. He loved lucy and he was the only dog I knew who would growl when the people closest to him would hug him. What dog growls at their owner? I lived with peso for the first year when I relocated to SD - he would often fall asleep in my lap like a gentle angel - but if you would move he would start growling like crazy. The worst part is that we loved his nastiness, Adriene and I thought it was just always the funniest thing - we would prod him to be mr. nasty. He loved lucy, adriene's bulldog, sooo much. Their relationship was quite complex - he would service her, she would yell at him - repeat.
